Barclays SmartSpend is a service exclusive to Barclays Online Banking customers offering easy access to products and services through trusted partnerships, all aimed at saving time and money.
From it's first days I led this project designwise, developing journeys as well as widgets and tools to help visualise the proposition. I advised senior stakeholders and ran recurring meetings with project managers and partner companies to bring external propositions inline with Barclays' requirements and to come to common agreements regarding how Barclays would be graphically represented on third party sites.
Once the bulk of branding and imagery was developed I employed a contractor to see through the additional workload following the pre-established look and feel. I oversaw and guided the contractor for over a year. The project is still under development (and NDA) so yet to be launched at it's full potential yet you can view collateral material below, produced in support of the SmartSpend service offered by ClicThat.
